Rolf Dahlström was born in northern Sweden in 1940, but lived most of his life in Stockholm. Draws and paints from childhood. He worked for many years as a commercial designer and in his spare time he paints in oil. A book publisher saw his works and hired him to make book covers. It became his beloved profession for more than forty years. He is now retired, but is "still strong", as one of his works exhibited, title.  His paintings were shown in several galleries throughout Sweden, also in Mallorca and Gran Canaria and now in Crete -He likes the islands. He is also an author and has had eight books published, including three children’s photo books. The artworks, full of creativity, originality and imagination., where surrealistic elements are, sometimes, mixed with revisitations of current themes, can easily fascinate audiences of all ages thanks to the good sense of humor, often present. In short, an exhibition not to be missed for its ability to bring a little 'lightness in our daily lives.
